Opening hours
Open: Wednesdays to Saturdays, 9am – 1pm.
Closed: Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays.
Closed Public Holidays.
Easter and ANZAC closure:
Friday 18 April (Good Friday) – Closed.
Saturday 19 April – Closed.
Sunday 20 April (Easter Sunday) – Closed.
Monday 21 April (Easter Monday) – Closed.
Wednesday 23 April – Open 9am – 1pm.
Thursday 24 April – Open 9am – 1pm.
Friday 25 April (ANZAC Day) – Closed.
Saturday 26 April – Open 9am – 1pm.
Accessibility
The Tamworth Powerstation Museum aims to provide an experience which can be enjoyed by all visitors including those with disabilities.
The Powerstation Museum is an accessible museum site with wheel chair access via the front entry.
The site and building is heritage listed hence the doorways are slightly narrow but are still wheelchair accessible and disabled access toilets are located at the rear end of the building.
Our friendly volunteers are able to provide guided tours for the vision or hearing impaired and support visitors as required.
