DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the anniversary of Tamworth as ‘City of Light’ – when this municipality became the first in the Southern Hemisphere to have electric street lighting.  \nOur amazing volunteers have been working hard to assemble new display cabinets generously sponsored by Essential Energy. The UNESCO Australian Memory of the World listed “Veness Letter Book” is the subject of one of the new displays. \nThere will be free entry to the museum and the John Fowler Steam Engines will be running from 10am – 4pm. \n  \n\n\n\n	Related
