Collection

The Tamworth Powerstation Museum Collection contains approximately 4,700 objects of historical and social significance. The diverse collection ranges from portraits of key figures in the development of electricity, important artifacts and machinery from throughout the industrialisation  of Australia, as well as common household appliances from the twentieth century. The Museum display chronicles the use of electricity in Australia and showcases innovations in science and design from around the world.
